Vale View M Stud
In 2011 we formed a stud for our son Mac, named Vale View M. 'The next generation' of Vale View.
Three cows and calves were initially transferred to the Vale View M herd from Vale View, & Bill Zahnleiter (ex Angle Zed Stud) kindly gave Mac two cows from his herd. These cows are the foundation of Vale View M.
'Time to give back'; In 2019 at the National Female Sale, Mac will offer 2 young heifers, the proceeds of one of these heifers; Vale View M Giggles will be donated to the McGrath Foundation. Mac's first heifer purchased was Lamont Keepsake ($4,750) purchased (sight unseen) from the 2011 MAGS Sale, Lamont Stud donated the proceeds of this heifer to the McGrath Foundation, we thought this was a fitting purchase for Mac as both his grandmothers died from breast cancer when they were in their early 50's & he can look back on his first purchase knowing there was meaning behind it.
In 2017 Mac bought Farogan Valley Hope, she was also a charity heifer, her proceeds were kindly donated by Nick & Sarah Hughes of Farogan Valley Stud to the Jake Garrett Foundation. In 2019, Mac offered Hopes daughter at the National Female Sale with all proceeds ($2,500) going to the McGrath Foundation which continues to help breast cancer patients in need.
A fitting tribute we feel & one that this young boy will remember for his lifetime!
