Vale View Flex 2 (PP)

Beautiful square type of bull with a great temperament. Plenty of leg, depth of flank, lovely skin type, perfect sheath. He was to be offered at the 2024 Highlands Sale, but due to bull breakdowns we decided to retain him. He did a quick stint with the cows in March 2024, then busted his leg, he was spelled for a season but never came good.

Connor Enis Purchased at the 2011 DN Sale. Sired by Glenavon Knockout out of a Yaralla bred female in Connor 043/07. Enis was purchased for his balance, slick coat, faultless temperament and tidy underline. @ 22mths, Enis weighed 690kg with a scrotal circum of 40cm. Scans: 9/6. EMA: 131cm. Sons have sold to $17,000 & most daughters have been retained. Sold privately in 2019.	Vale View Avenger Died 2020. We couldn't go past keeping this young fella, an excellent doing bull with not a lot to fault, he's long as a train, thick and loads of meat with an excellent tidy sheath & good polled head. He's been lightly maintained throughout the winter with our paddock bulls and still looks like he's in prime sale condition.	Angle Zed Ferdinand Sold privately in 2020.
Vale View M Ballasitc Sold privately in 2020. An embryo son of sale topping sire Vale View Magnum (Lamont Stud) out of show champion VV Rags To Riches. Another consistent bull throwing very 'true to type. At the end of 2018, 10 sons avg $8,200 topping at $14,500 & daughters have sold to $5,250.	Glenlands Tactician Purchased at the 2015 Glenlands Sale; a lovely strong headed horned bull with loads of bone, meat and strength about him, but still maintaining softness and breed character. At 24 mths he weighed in at 864kg, with scans of 8/5 and a whopping 145cm EMA, scrotal of 38.5cm. Sired by Glenlands K.B. out of a Glenlands Federation female. Tacticians' first sons sold in 2018, 4 to avg $6,375 topping at $9,000. Sold to Topline Stud in 2019.	Vale View Ripper Initially sold in 2010 to Bryvonlea Stud where they achieved great success with Ripper progeny for 7 years, heifers topping at $18,000 & sons topping at $17,000. We also had used Ripper prior to sale over a couple of heifers resulting in some very good calves as well as in IVF programs resulting in bulls topping at $20,000. We had the chance to purchase Ripper back early 2017 as a 9 yr old in the hope to breed a lovely loose skinned line of females. Ripper died early 2019.
Rondel PK Purchased at the 2014 Longreach All Breeds Sale; P.K. is the bull we have been searching for. We have selected him for his loose skin yet maintaining a very tidy underline. Beautiful head with great eye cover, overall softness & good spring of rib, stands on good bone and very quiet. A grandson of the renowned Billabong Godfrey. Sire: Rondel Money Maker Dam: Rondel 1809 (Vale View Overload) Sold to Farogan Valley Stud in 2019.	Vale View Viper Initially sold for $15,000 in 2013. We purchased him back early 2019. A lovely loose bull with loads of meat, polled head. Out of the 'mighty' VV Maresmo. Unfortunately he died just after putting him out for the first season.	Vale View Zeplin Retained sire in 2018, sired by Glenlands Substitute out of a full sister to Vale View Playboy. Retained for his length, lovely polled head, doing ability, good feet & structurally very sound. Died in the paddock.
Vale View Playboy VALE VIEW PLAYBOY - Playboy unfortunately died early 2016, he was our most consistent sire & has left us with some beautiful females who are breeding on well & a retained sire in X-Man. We are lucky enough to be able to utilise his semen & this semen will not be sold on. One of our most consistent sires, unfortunately sustained an injury & 2020 will see the last of his sons offered. No semen was retained. Talgai 832 TALGAI 832 - A bull that had a tremendous impact within our stud herd, purchased as the top price bull at Roma Tropical Breeds Sale in 2001, his sons have topped at $20,000, averaging over $8,000 and 10 mth old females have topped at $3,000. His bloodlines rein supreme within the Vale View herd, females are renowned for their excellent milking ability and fertility. Hamadra Bonzer HAMADRA BONZER - Bonzer was purchased at the 2012 DN Sale for $11,500. Purchased for his strong head, loose skin, light colour, good coat, very tidy underline, muscle pattern. Bonzers dam; Hamadra Stardust is also the mother of Hamadra Augustus who sired the $22,000 Hamadra Ali. @ 23 mths of age, Bonzer weighed 756kg with P8 of 12, Rib of 9 and EMA of 137cm. Durack Quartpot DURACK QUARTPOT - We purchased Quartpot at the Angle Zed dispersal sale, jumping at the chance to secure such a well bred and proven breeder. Quartpot sons have sold to $13,000 for us, we have retained most females. His career with us was very brief as he was purchased as an old bull, our main aim was to secure his semen. Glenlands Quanda GLENLANDS QUANDA - Purchased in 2013 for $16,000, we were so excited to secure this outstanding bull & thought he would lift us to the next level. He unfortunately had 'shunt' where we never received a calf & vets advice was to not collect semen. Quanda was culled.
