Our Helmsman Genetics Auction saw heifers top at $8,000 with lot 2 selling to Molan Stud, also taking home lot 11. Second top price heifer was lot 3 selling for $6,250 to Clayfield Stud, NSW. Clayfield also took home lots 1 & 13. Brent & Lauren Knopke purchased lots 5 and 2 to average $5,625, other buyers on the day were Cody Fagan, Seymour Stud, Michicki Stud, Allstar Cattle Co & Canina Valley Stud. Heifer average was a solid $5,146.
Semen topped at $375/straw with Vale View Playboy selling to Molan Stud, also taking home the Clonlara 17210 package for $250/straw. Other purchases of semen were Michicki Stud (Mr Mint) & Old Sarum Stud (VV Ripper)
